The main seeds are through to the quarter final at the Junior South Pacific Tennis Open in New Caledonia.

In the boys singles, top seed Jay Andrijic of Australia defeated Hong Kong's Robin Hao Nguy to book his spot in the last eight.

New Zealand fifth seed Mitchell McDonald crashed out, however, against Australia's Joshua Mackenzie, who will play the only remaining local hope, Louis Le Roux.

In the girls singles, half of the quarter finalists are still to be decided.

Papua New Guinea's second seed Marcia Tere Apisah has set up a clash with Bridget Liddell of New Zealand while third seed Claudia Williams will face Hong Kong's Wai Kei Vickie Ip.

Top seed Anaeve Pain of New Caledonia is among those still to complete her third round clashes.
