Fiji's interim prime minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, has used his family holiday in Singapore to pay a visit to Sir Michael Somare, the hospitalised Papua New Guinea prime minister.
Fiji's information ministry says Commodore Bainimarama visited Sir Michael and spent time with Lady Veronica Somare.
Commodore Bainimarama, on behalf of Fiji and MSG members, wishes him a speedy recovery and return to good health.
Fiji's interim leader has also attended Fiji's opening game against New Zealand in the Netball World Cup being held in Singapore.
