Public urged to buy into CNMI cargo airline

A Northern Marianas businessman, Anthony Pellegrino, is urging the public to buy shares in his cargo airline, claiming the new service to Guam could cut shipping rates by over 50 percent.

Cargo Air Bridge is expected to provide a service between Saipan, Tinian, Rota and Guam.

Mr Pellegrino says he's put up enough seed money to buy one of two cargo planes worth about 400,000 US dollars, but three times that is needed to get the aircraft flying.
