Oceania champions Tahiti have been drawn to face Nigeria, Russia and a South American qualifier in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Italy later this year.

The draw was made on Tuesday in Rome with the tournament to be held in Ravenna in September.

The Tiki Toa earned the right to represent Oceania after winning the OFC Championship, which they hosted, in February.

The Solomon Islands attended the last World Cup in 2009, where their only success came in a 7-6 win against Uruguay.

Tahiti will also host the next edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in 2013.
