The Tautua Samoa opposition party remains optimistic of its chances to gain more seats at next week's by-elections.
The party hopes to add to its current 12 seats in the 50 seat Parliament despite the confidence within the ruling Human Rights Protection party.
Fifteen people have been accepted as candidates for the four vacant seats of Aleipata Itupa i luga, Satupaitea, Vaisigano number one, and Anoama'a East constituencies.
Tautua Party leader, Palusalue Faapo II says they are confident in their three candidates of Dr Leali'ifano Iopu Tanielu, former HRPP turned opposition candidate, Asiata Wairaki Toevai, and high ranking female chief and teacher, Ala'iasa Elena, representing them.
"We are so fortunate to have these gentlemen and one woman and so we hope for the best in the upcoming by-election."
He says it was unfortunate the party couldn't find anyone to stand in the Aleipata Itupa i Luga constituency in time for the by-elections on July 29.
