Vanuatu wrapped up their Pacific Games preparations in style with a 2-0 win over Solomon Islands in a football friendly in Port Vila on Saturday.
Both goals came in the second spell on what was the 31st anniversary of Vanuatu's independence.
Head coach Natonga Saby says it has been a very tough task to use only young players in the national team over the past month but says they stood up and proved they deserved to be there.
The team will play one final match against club side Amicale FC before returning to camp.
