Cook Islands to send 20 strong delegation to Forum summit

The Cook Islands government is sending a delegation of 20 to next week's Pacific Islands Forum leader summit in Auckland, at a cost to the taxpayer of more than 40 thousand US dollars.

The government is still to disclose just who is in the delegation, but it's been confirmed that the wives of prime minister Henry Puna and deputy prime minister Tom Marsters are going.

Another two ministers also attending along with more than a dozen government and private sector representatives.
