French Polynesia's analog television transmitters will be turned off today as the territory becomes the first of France's overseas territories to broadcast digital signals only.
Viewers were advised that they needed to ensure they have a set-top box or a UHF antenna with a digital tuner to continue receiving television signals.
Subsidies are available to help with the switch.
