The acting Chief Executive of Fiji Rugby says he hopes next week's review of the national side's World Cup performance will provide a strong plan for the next cup.

At the 2011 cup, in progress in New Zealand, Fiji failed to get past pool play and finished with a heavy loss to Wales

Last night, the Fiji Union hosted a special board meeting at which Chief Executive, Pio Bosco Tikoisuva, says it was decided a thorough review of the team's performance will start from Wednesday.

Mr Tikoisuva says written reports will be submitted while some members of the coaching and management staff plus senior players will also address the board.

"From the findings the board will obtain from the documents and all the presentations they will then sit down and see if they could map out a road map for Fiji rugby to take in preparation for the 2015 Rugby World Cup."

Pio Bosco Tikoisuva says any decisions about the futures of staff and management will be made once the board completes its review.
