Solomon Islands international Jack Wetney will be back in time for Amicale FC's first O-League match at the end of the month.
The 21 year old has spent the last few months in Turkey trying to secure a professional contract but has not been able to pick up a deal.
The new O-League season starts in two weeks with Amicale up against Hekari United in Port Vila.
Defending champions Auckland City begin their title defence away to Koloale FC.
