11:45 am on 1 November 2011

Members of the Fiji Rugby Union Board will meet today to go over the candidates vying for the vacant CEO and sevens coaching positions.

FRU Chairman Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga has said a new CEO will be in place by the new year.

Joe Savou coached the sevens team at the recent Oceania tournament in Apia and has expressed his interest in the role on a full-time basis.

The first leg of the new world series is on the Gold Coast at the end of November.
