The Suva Magistrates Court is set to make its decision whether or not to transfer former Fiji land forces commander Pita Driti's case to the High Court in December.

Pita Driti is charged with seditious offence and inciting mutiny.

He was charged along with Ratu Tevita Mara, who fled to Tonga in May.

FijiLive reports the court has heard submissions from lawyers, and the case has been adjourned for mention on November 29 while a ruling is expected to be reached on December 16.
