A Samoa boxer and coach have been arrested for an alleged rape in American Samoa.
The two, coach Lautapa'a Wong King and boxer Aukuso Faamanu, are with the Samoa Boxing Club that participated in a sports festival in the territory last week.
They were supposed to return to Samoa with other club members on Friday but were taken into custody on allegations that the 20-year-old boxer had raped a 16 year old girl and the coach had sexually assaulted her.
The duo are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow for a status hearing.
