A Northern Marianas lawmaker, Raymond Palacios, has pleaded not guilty to drugs charges in the Superior Court.
Police arrested Mr Palacios last month for allegedly selling 200 US dollars worth of methamphetamine.
He was arrested last month but has been free on bail after posting 3,000 US dollars in cash and 27,000 dollars in unsecured bonds.
The Presiding Judge Robert Naraja has set a status conference for January the 10th.
