An investigation into last December's death of a Fiji police officer at military barracks has ruled out any foul play.
Constable Vetaia Ratuvono, who was on a training exercise at Suva's Queen Elizabeth Barracks, was found dead at the facility's pool.
A separate police team, which investigated the death, had to wait for several weeks for the pathologist's report.
The Ministry of Information has now issued a statement saying the investigation has confirmed that Mr Ratuvono's death was caused by drowning following his training session with other officers.
