Samoa rugby league international David Solomona has sustained a broken leg during his Warrington club's three-week pre-season camp in Australia.
The 31-year-old, who is also a former New Zealand international, picked up the injury in training and underwent surgery at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney.
The injury is the second close-season mishap for the Wolves, who will start the 2012 campaign without halfback Richie Myler after he dislocated an elbow in the club's friendly against Widnes on Boxing Day.
