A former judge in American Samoa, Save Liuato Tuitele, has picked a woman to be his running mate in this year's gubernatorial race.
She is Tofoitaufa Sandra King-Young, who is the founder and CEO of the Pacific Islands Center for Educational Development, a non-profit organisation which provides tutoring for students to prepare them for college life.
Save decided to run for governor after Utu Abe Malace withdrew from the gubernatorial race.
He had been the lieutenant governor candidate for Utu.
Save is a retired US Army Chief Warrant Officer and he served as a judge of the High Court until last year when he resigned to run for office.
Their team is the third to announce their candidacy.
