Papua New Guinea's national executive council will meet this afternoon when it is expected an announcement will be made into financial assistance after Tuesday's landslide disaster.
The Prime Minister travelled to the Southern Highlands' province where a village was buried, killing as many as 60 people.
Peter Mr O'Neill went to the site and spoke to relatives of those who perished.
The landslide struck near the Nogoli base for the LNG plant site.
