A New Zealand Air Force Orion is helping the Nafanua police patrol boat in Samoa in the search for three fishermen missing for a week.
The search for the fishing boat, Fefe i le Sou II, was launched a week ago.
The police maritime wing of the Ministry of Police and Prisons in Samoa say several Samoan and American Samoa fishing boats as well as the US Coast Guard have been helping in the search since Thursday.
The New Zealand Air Force Orion commander is expected to decide today whether to continue the operation.
