Tropical Cyclone Jasmine is weakening as it moves in an east-northeasterly direction towards Nuku'alofa in Tonga but warnings are still in place for parts of the Kingdom.
Stong winds, and heavy rain resulting in flooding of low lying areas were expected to affect the Tongatapu, Vava'u, and Ha'apai groups early this morning.
