More than half of the workers sacked by the Fiji Works ministry have filed legal action against their dismissal.
114 people were sacked over an alleged sick sheet scam.
Fijivillage reports that 61 of them claim that the Permanent Secretary for Works Commander Francis Kean failed to follow proper procedures in sacking them.
He had said the dismissals were necessary to bring about an honest public service.
