A family squabble over the land on which Niue's new Tourism Office is sited is due to be heard in the Land Court next week.
The office, converted from the former Alofi general store with half a million US dollars from the New Zealand aid programme, was opened last year by New Zealand's Foreign Minister, Murray McCully.
A family trust had agreed to the lease of the land but one family member, Sydney-based William Tutaki, says the trustee went about the deal the wrong way.
He says he and other family members were not consulted.
Mr Tutaki says he's not unhappy with the arrangement with the Tourism Office but is concerned at the way it was done.
