Three injured in gun shots in Samoa during police drug raid

A police drug raid in Samoa in the early hours of this morning at Faleatiu village has resulted in three people being injured with gunshot wounds.

A nurse at the Tupua Tamasese Meaole national hospital says two of the wounded are being treated at the emergency division.

Faleatiu village has been the target of police investigations as one of the country's main sources of cannabis.

Police are yet to comment on the raid.
