Guam sailor gets life for child molestation

A United States navy sailor stationed on Guam has been sentenced to life imprisonment after pleading guilty to 20 counts of child rape.

The Navy Times reports that a Superior Court heard that Bradford Lung, who was also a youth soccer coach, had sexually abused his 10-year-old female victim for years.

Judge Anita Sukola reminded Lung that although he will be eligible for parole after 15 years, there's no guarantee of his release.

Lung is being moved to an army detention facility in the US mainland state of California to face military prosecution over additional allegations from outside of Guam.
