Auckland City leave for Tahiti on Thursday, to play Tefana in the deciding second leg of the Oceania Champions League grand final.
The defending champions will take a narrow 2-1 lead into the match-up, to be played on Saturday local time, following their first leg win in New Zealand last month.
Head coach Ramon Tribuleitx says despite that advantage they won't be going into their shell.
"We hope that we're going to be alright. I think we know what we have to do, we know what kind of game we're expecting. We're in a similar situation to last year but obviously playing away is not the same as playing at home but in terms of the score it's the same. We're going to play for the win. We're going to play for the win and hopefully score an away goal and hopefully that will change things."
The winner of the O-League will represent Oceania at the Club World Cup in Japan later this year.
