A case study into climate change financing is underway in Nauru.
The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat study will look at the options for improving access to international finance and the management of climate change resources.
Nauru is the first country to agree to undertake such a review which is to be completed ahead of the leaders' summit in August.
Secretary of Nauru's Department of Commerce, Industry and Environment, Russ Kun, says Nauru anticipates the study will assist the country and the people, and eventually, the region, in the shared struggle to address the greatest challenge facing the Pacific.
