Close contests continue in football's Oceania series in Honiara

In sport news, in football's Oceania World Cup qualifiers being played at Lawson Tama Stadium in the Solomon Islands capital, Honiara, New Zealand have beaten Papua New Guinea 2-1.

This match was followed by Fiji and Solomon Islands who drew nil all.

Tahiti leads Group A and New Zealand in Group B - both with two victories from two matches.
