Sport: Samoa and Tonga slip in rugby rankings

Samoa and Tonga have dropped a spot each in the latest IRB world rugby rankings, after both suffered defeat at the weekend.

Samoa slipped from ninth to tenth following their 17-16 loss to Scotland in Apia.

The 'Ikale Tahi dropped back to twelfth from eleventh after losing their final Pacific Nations Cup match against Fiji in Lautoka.

Fiji remain in fourteenth placer, with New Zealand, Australia and South Africa holding firm in the top three positions.
