The French Polynesian nuclear test veterans organisation says there is little comfort in a court ruling that nullifies the rejection of a compensation claim for ill-health caused by the French weapons tests.
Moruroa e tatou says it took 11 years to get to the point where the court decided that there was a basis for the six claim.
Its head, Roland Oldham, says the whole system is flawed and full of hypocrisy.
"Today the court says to us that it is a victory for us but the victory still brings us to zero, which means the workers, the victims still have no compensation."
