Fijian golfer Vijay Singh birdied the final four holes to take a one-shot lead at the Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia.
Singh, who hasn't won on the PGA Tour since 2008, carded a seven-under-par 63, his lowest score on the tour in four years.
The 49 year old says it is the first good round of the year that he has been comfortable with.
Meanwhile Tiger Woods failed to fire, finishing the day at one over par.
