Power prices will drop in the Northern Marianas from today.
This is in line with a promise of the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation to decrease its charges by almost 11 percent.
The drop follows an adjustment of the so-called levelised energy adjustment clause, which is tied to the cost of fuel.
Our correspondent says the average residential customer can expect a monthly saving of just under 12 US dollars.
