As Papua New Guinea's election period has been extended into a third week, the Electoral Commission says the outer islands of the Bougainville area will complete polling by Thursday.
It says voting in the next couple of days will take place on Nugiria, Mortlock, Catarats and Tasman.
The polling teams, it says, should return to Buka by Friday.
