Papua New Guinea's Electoral Commissioner, Andrew Trawen, says the support provided by New Zealand and Australia during the just completed election shows the three countries now have a matured relationship.
Mr Trawen thanked and farewelled the Australia and New Zealand military teams that provided logistical support to the election process.
He says amid the calls for a delay in the poll he had needed high-quality support that allowed to say the Commission was ready to conduct the election.
