Indonesia offers American Samoa training for law enforcement official

The Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, Dr Dino Djalal, has offered training for an American Samoa law enforcement official as part of measures to assist the territory.

Dr Djalal also says two graduates of the American Samoa Community College will be awarded scholarships to study in Indonesia.

In addition, an internship attachment is on offer for a person from American Samoa at a five star hotel in Bali.

During his discussions with the Governor Togiola Tulafono, Dr Djalal has also announced a sister city arrangement between American Samoa and the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.

In meetings with the Chamber of Commerce and government officials, the visiting ambassador also discussed cooperation in agriculture and tourism.
