Oceania has dominated the Asia Pacific women's sevens tournament in Borneo, with Australia taking out the title and Papua New Guinea finishing third.
Australia thumped Japan 36-17 in the final, after earlier beating PNG in the semi finals.
PNG recovered however to hold off Hong Kong 26-17 in the playoff for third place.
The next major tournament is the Asian Women's Sevens Championship, in India next month, which will decide the region's qualifiers for next year's World Cup.
