A member of the Manu Samoa Sevens training squad who pleaded guilty to carnal knowledge has been discharged without conviction.
Siologa Viliamu was told to pay 1,000 dollars worth of prosecution costs.
He was also told to stay away from young girls.
Chief Justice Patu Tuava'asu'e Falefatu Sapolu warned the 20 year-old that if he appears again in court for a similar charge, his career in rugby and athletics is finished.
Villiamu, who won two bronze medals during last year's Pacific Games for Samoa, was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
The chief justice says Viliamu's participation in the Pacific Games in New Caledonia in 2011, a contribution to the country is accepted as a mitigating factor.
The Court also took into consideration the fact that he was a first time offender.
