The Fiji women's team have qualified for next year's Rugby World Cup Sevens after winning the Asian Championship title in Pune, India.
The Fijiana team beat China 15-0 in the competition final, to join New Zealand and Australia as Oceania teams to qualify for the Moscow World Cup.
Fiji coach Elenoa Kunatuba says, after narrowly missing out on the last world cup, sealing their place was all the more satisfying.
"We made a point 2008, when we missed out, we said the next world cup we're going to go for it and for the next four years so I'm quite happy that we've qualified and very very happy and I'm so proud of the girls for such an achievement."
China and Japan also progress to the World Cup as runners-up and third place getters, with just one spot remaining at the Moscow tournament, to be filled by the winner of the South American qualifer.
