Price Reduction of Steel and LPG to boost Fiji economy

11:34 am on 10 October 2012

Reductions in the price of steel and Liquid Petroleum Gas are expected to significantly benefit the Fiji economy through lower construction costs for housing and development projects.

In a statement, Fiji's interim government says Fijians will also benefit from cheaper gas prices for households and LPG vehicle owners.

The reductions, based on international price fluctuations, have been made on the recommendation of the Fiji Commerce Commission and endorsed by Government.
