A new-look Fiji begins the defence of the Gold Coast Sevens title on Saturday.
There are eight new caps in the team, with only one player, Osea Kolinisau, having been a part of last year's Cup winning side.
Fiji open their tournament against Scotland before taking on Pacific rivals Tonga and host nation Australia, and captain Levani Botia says they will do their best.
"We know that we have prepared well for this Gold Coast. We will do our best - we're trying to defend our glory. We know that for this coming series we want to do our best for the upcoming sevens."
