Samoa's Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, has praised the Bluesky Samoa telephone and broadband internet service company for launching a pay TV service.
Tuilaepa says it is another milestone achieved by the company in close to two years of service in Samoa which is a positive sign of the government decision to sell the publicly-owned SamoaTel to the Bluesky in American Samoa.
The Moana TV has been added to two other pay TV such as Sky Pacific and Procom.
A monthly payment of less than 40 US dollar will be charged by the Bluesky for its new pay television service.
It has started with a service to cover only part of the town area but the project has four phases which aims at reaching out to the whole country.
