Fiji's President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will be sworn in for another term in office this morning.

The body that used to appoint the President, the Great Council of Chiefs, has been suspended since the 2006 coup.

It was formally disestablished by decree this year.

Ratu Epeli was appointed the Acting President in July 2009 after the retirement of late Ratu Josefa Iloilo.

FBC news reports a formal swearing in ceremony will be held at Government House this morning.
