A 24-year-old prison inmate who was allegedly sexually assaulted by three other inmates at a Fiji prison earlier this month is still in hospital.
Fiji Corrections Services spokesperson, Ana Tamani told Fiji Village online the matter is serious and their investigations are continuing.
She says the three inmates who are alleged to have sexually attacked the 24-year-old have been segregated and placed in the Naboro Maximum prison as inmates who breech prison rules are placed there.
She says further details as to how the incident occurred can be given once investigations are completed.
