The search has resumed for three firshermen missing off the coast of Kiribati.
An Air Force Orion aeroplane arrived yesterday on Tarawa Island to look for the men, who were due back from their fishing trip four days ago.
The Orion searched the sea south of Tarawa Island, an area of about 42-thousand square kilometres, for about four hours yesterday afternoon with no results.
A Maritime New Zealand spokesperson, Steve Rendle, says the search resumed at first light this morning and will continue throughout the day.
