Sport: 'Ikale Tahi coach already looking ahead to 2013

Tonga rugby coach Mana Otai says he will allow himself a short break in December but plans to be back on deck quickly to begin planning for the 2013 season.

The 'Ikale Tahi came from behind to beat Scotland 21-15 in Aberdeen at the weekend, despite being reduced to just 13 players late in the match.

It was Tonga's first win over the tier one Scots and Otai says the challenge is to build on such results.

"I'll be having the weekend off and then I'm back on the drawing board. Firstly for us, before the PNC, 'I'll be planning for PRC - the Pacific Cup - which start off with Tonga A playing the Super Rugby academies starting in early March next year. And from there to build on and select a PNC side for that competition and onwards and upwards so enjoy it while it lasts and then get on the drawing board again."
