A motion of no-confidence against Vanuatu's Prime Minister Sato Kilman is set to go ahead this afternoon after the Supreme Court ruled that the motion is in order.

On Monday the speaker of parliament, George Wells, ruled that the opposition's motion was not in order.

However the Court this morning handed down a decision that the Speaker's ruling was unconstitutional.

The motion is scheduled to be debated in parliament at around 2pm Vanuatu time.
