American Samoa's governor wants improved internet access for Manu'a schools

The American Samoa Governor Lolo Matalasi Moliga has asked the new board of the American Samoa Telecommunications Authority to improve internet access for the school children in Manu'a.

Lolo, the first Manu'a-born governor of American Samoa is concerned that Manu'a school children have been neglected for a very long time and he would like to see this corrected as soon as possible.

The governor has asked the board to accelerate the implementation of a project to improve telecommunications infrastructure in the territory.

The Broadband Linking American Samoa Telecommunications Project is fully funded by the US government to the tune of 95 million US dollars.
