The Cook Islands Rugby Union have been given a financial boost with Matson Shipping jumping on board to sponsor the code for the next two years.
The US Company bought out previous main sponsor Reef Shipping after it went into receivership and will contribute $50 000 to the sport locally.
CIRU president Chris McKinley says they had no idea where their funds would come from to cover their 2013 international campaign, so are very grateful for the support.
The Cook Islands are currently preparing for the Hong Kong sevens tournament next month.
