Sport: Fiji to play Barbarians in November

11:55 am on 13 February 2013

The Flying Fijians will return to Twickenham later this year to celebrate their centenary year with a match against the famed Barbarians club in November.

Fiji famously upset the star-studded invitational side in 1970, by 29 points to nine.

Barbarians' president Micky Steele-Bodger says the Barbarians have always had a special affection for Fiji's rugby and its players, with former internationals Isa Nacewa and Akapusi Qera among those representing in the past year.

The Barbarians will also meet England and the British and Irish Lions in the middle of the year.
