Fiji have finished last at the World Hockey League 2 tournament in New Delhi after both the men's and women's teams failed to win a game.

The men showed improvement throughout the week, scoring in each of their final three pool matches.

The Hector Smith coach side even led 3-2 at halftime in their final match against Oman before losing 7-3.

The Shaun Corrie coached women were beaten 4-0 by Kazakhstan in their final match - their smallest losing margin - but failed to score one goal across their five matches.

Hosts India won both the men's and women's competitions to advance to World Hockey League 3, with the Irish men and Japanese women joining them in the next round.
