A by-election is to be held in South Fly Open electorate in Papua New Guinea's Western Province following a successful electoral petition.
EM TV reports that a former MP, Sali Subam, won the case against the Deputy Speaker and South Fly MP, Aide Ganasi.
The court for electoral disputes found that bribes were paid during the elections to influence the outcome.
